We are GZA • გზა
გზა • GZA (Georgisches Zentrum im Ausland) is a collective of Europe-based Georgian civil activists. Our main aim is to raise awareness about Georgia and its geopolitical context, which often remains invisible, in European societies. The key goal of the organization is to support Georgian processes relevant to Eurointegration, deepen the knowledge about Georgian daily political climate and put an emphasis on its relevance for the European agenda.

Election 2024
On October 26, Georgia will hold elections of immense historical significance, which will profoundly shape our geopolitical direction for decades to come. The choice before us is stark and crucial: either return to the oppressive grip of Russian imperialism, with its long history of subjugation and control, or embrace the vast opportunities and freedoms offered by integration into the Euro-Atlantic community. This decision will not only define our nation's future but also the legacy we leave for the generations to come
History of russian imperialism
in Georgia
In 1801, russia occupied Georgia, initiating a 200-year period of annexation and oppression of the Georgian people. This occupation persists today, with 20% of Georgia still under russian control.
